LSU has 14 entries for NCAA indoor track and field meet

Fargo-(courtesy NDSU Athletics)-The NCAA announced the fields for the 2016 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday, March 2, and North Dakota State senior Erin Teschuk has qualified for the national meet in a pair of events for the second straight year. In February, MacLean helped the Minutewomen win their first Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field championship since 1998 as she was the A-10 Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer at the conference meet after winning gold medals in the 800m, mile and distance medley relay, along with a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay.

Collins earned a bid in the pole vault while Scott will participate in the 60-meter dash, with the meet scheduled to take place in Birmingham March 11-12.

The fields are set for the 2016 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships and Spring Arbor University will be represented by a trio of student-athletes in freshman Caitlin Clark, sophomore Bethany Kuenzer and freshman Joshua Smith.

He finished second last week at the Mountain West Indoor Championships in 7.89.

The NCAA Indoor Championships can be watched online via ESPN3 with coverage starting at 6:25 p.m. EST on March 11 and 4:55 p.m. EST on March 12.

He enters the championships ranked fifth nationally in the triple jump with a mark of 53 feet, 10.5 inches. Brisco also clocked a personal best of 8.05 in the hurdle final for the No. 5-ranked time in the NCAA entering the championship. After both achieving All-American status during the 2015 cross country season, they will each attempt to become track & field All-Americans for the first time in their careers in Birmingham.

Williams also just sneaked into the championship field in the 800 meters as she has the 17th-fastest time (2:04.50) in the country for 2016. The transfer from Florida A&M posted four marks over 20 meters, including a lifetime-best of 20.96 (68-9.25) which vaulted her from 33 nationally to the No. 16 position.

The semifinals of the women's 5000 will start at 4 p.m. on Thursday with the finals slated for 3:35 p.m. on Saturday.
