The Detroit Lions take on the Chicago Bears in one of the National Football League games on Sunday, start time at 1:00 PM ET, at Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois.
Detroit worked Bell out last week after the franchise lost Ameer Abdullah to injured reserve but decided not to sign him again after cutting him as a salary cap casualty in February.
Bell had 2,234 yards rushing and 1,640 receiving over 68 games with Philadelphia (2010), Indianapolis (2010) and Detroit (2012-15). Starter Jeremy Langford exited Sunday night's loss to the Cowboys with a sprained ankle and third-stringer Ka'Deem Carey sat out the game with a hamstring injury.
The Chicago Bears are still looking for their first win of the season as they haven't been all that competitive starting the year 0-3. According to Rand Getlin, the veteran running back is signing with the Bears on Tuesday.
The Chicago Bears also released offensive lineman Jason Weaver from the Practice Team, and signed Colin Kelly in his place. He owns 2,235 career rushing yards with 22 touchdowns in six National Football League seasons.
West Elm opening chain of boutique hotels
West Elm isn't the first retail company to turn to the hospitality industry to grow their business. West Elm said it was attracted to the warehouses, food trucks and local businesses in South End.
Chicago doesn't have any proven running back depth behind Langford.
The Green Bay Packers originally drafted Wilson in the seventh round of the 2010 draft and he played there until 2013. Bell originally entered the National Football League as an undrafted free agent out of Wayne State.
Kelly is in his second professional season, spending time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2013-14) and San Francisco 49ers (2016). He has appeared in seven contests, with three starts at inside linebacker, collecting 25 tackles and two fumble recoveries.
Fuller has started 30-of-32 games in three seasons for the Bears (2014-16), producing 129 tackles, three TFLs, six interceptions, 24 pass breakups and three forced fumbles.
Scruggs, a four-year National Football League veteran, was active in each of the first three games.
