As Mac Rumors recently noted, the MacBook Pro 2016 release will most likely still push through this month as suggested by Japanese site Mac Otakara.
While the official release date of both the 2016 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air remain a mystery, if Apple is in fact planning on an October 27th announcement, the laptops could hit retail stores in November.
Apple's new MacBook Pro is also expected to include a "Dynamic Function Row", which replaces the top row of function keys with a touchscreen OLED strip that allows keys to be dynamic to match applications. Regardless of how the specs and features will turn out and whether or not it'll be powered by the Intel Kaby Lake, the truth is everyone still wants the MacBook Pro 2016. The new-generation OLED display is rumored to be a permanent replacement of the physical function keys.
Apple had already halted software updates for iPhone 4 since iOS 7.1.2 in June 2014 while the late 2010 MacBook Air has received the latest MacOS Sierra.

It's true that the MacBook Air has been getting more powerful and capable, while on the other hand the Pro is seemingly slimmer and more compact with each release, so there might be some sense in those statements. According to Bloomberg, the new premium MacBook Pros will be thinner "but are not tapered like the MacBook Air and latest 12-inch MacBook". We don't know how many of these ports the Air will get, but if the design stays more or less the same, it should at least get more than the one-ported MacBook. Apple discontinued its most recent 27-inch Thunderbolt monitor this past June without announcing a replacement.
Since the launch of original MacBook in 2015, Apple is rumoured to refresh the MacBook Air with retina display and reversible USB Type-C ports. Apple has its earnings report on Tuesday, Microsoft is holding a Windows 10 hardware event in NY on Wednesday and then the new Macs will debut on Thursday.
Although the tech titan has not revealed upcoming product, there has been constant rumors regarding the next-gen MacBook Pro lineup.
