PM Modi says 'mothership of terrorism' is India's neighbour at BRICS meeeting

In a press release, Sartaj Aziz, adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on foreign affairs, said Pakistan's is unified in its fight against terrorism.
The Goa declaration calls for a "holistic approach" and says all counter-terrorism measures should "uphold worldwide law and respect human rights".
"Terrorist funding, their weapons supply, training and political support must be systematically cut off", he said.
He added that we agreed that those who support, sponsor, shelter and nurture forces of violence and terror are as much a threat to us as terrorists themselves.
Noting that India and Pakistan are "all victims of terrorism", she said Islamabad has made "great sacrifice to combat terrorism and this needs to be recognised by the global community".
The Hindu nationalist leader has been moving to isolate India's archrival and fellow nuclear power following a raid last month on an Indian army base that killed 19 soldiers. Countries belonging to the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (Bimstec) are India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
In response, Pakistan has accused Modi of misleading summit participants and seeking to hide India's alleged brutality in the parts of the divided Kashmir region which it rules.

He said the establishment of New Development Bank by the BRICS countries and the Contingency Reserve Arrangement were "signature achievements".
Reflecting Zuma's view, Brazilian President Michel Temer said that the BRICS nations faced similar challenges and these five nations should come together to overcome them.
Observing that BRICS nations have been a voice for peace, reform, reason and purposeful action, he said, "If new drivers of growth have to take root, there must be unhindered flow of skilled talent, ideas, technology and capital across borders".
