Things appear to be heading in the right direction for Snead, but he was held out of last week's contest and could be headed for a game-time call versus San Diego.
Brees threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Kuhn. Antonio Gates, who didn't practice this week due to a hamstring injury, is unlikely to play.
"Yesterday I actually walked to the spot and just kind of stood on it and said a prayer and just reflected", Brees said during an emotional post-game news conference. He led the Saints to their only Super Bowl appearance in 2009, in which they beat the Indianapolis Colts, while twice winning the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award and being selected to nine Pro Bowls.
The Saints are now 1-3, and Brees remains a ideal 3-0 against his former team.
They forced three turnovers in the final seven minutes to rally back from a 13-point deficit and give quarterback Drew Brees a triumphant return to San Diego.
After the ensuing kickoff, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers - who took over the Bolts' quarterback role when Brees left San Diego - hit Travis Benjamin for a short gain.
No problem with Rooney, insists Mourinho
The report states that despite being relegated to the bench in recent weeks, Rooney will not be stripped as captain of the club. It was a really good performance, a performance to win by a comfortable score and, in the end, we lose two points".
The Chargers have lost 15 off their last 20 games.
Many people struggle with reminders of traumatic experiences like Brees had at the end of the 2005 season. Instead, the Chargers are 1-2, after blowing leads in both Weeks 1 and 3.
The Chargers enter play today 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall and are 4-1 against the number in their last five games versus an opponent with a losing record.
The Chargers took a 24-14 halftime lead after scoring on three straight possessions, getting the 53-yard TD pass from Rivers to Inman, a 30-yard field goal from Josh Lambo and a 1-yard run by Gordon.
San Diego floundered on the opening drive of the second half, making fans nervous. Kuhn and Mark Ingram each scored on a one-yard run. The Chargers will ask voters on November 8 to approve a $1.1 billion public subsidy in the form of increased hotel occupancy taxes to help build a stadium and convention center annex downtown. Left tackle King Dunlap (migraines) is also doubtful for this game.
