In a note to investors, Chi-Kuo confirmed a selection of different upgrades for the 12 inches MacBook and the 13 and 15 inches MacBook Pro devices such as new processors and RAM increase for future owners. Meanwhile, the 13-inch and 15-inch models will begin production in the following quarter. The MacBook Pro will be including an impressive 32GB of RAM, practically doubling the memory allotment for current top-of-the-line models.
Following the same design as the current MacBook Pro models which were released late previous year, Apple's refreshed 15-inch MacBook Pro model is apparently being targeted at the high-end user base, with desktop-class 32GB RAM available to satisfy the needs of the consumer. The upcoming MacBook Pro 2017 is expected to boast of features much superior to MacBook Pro 2016. This is despite of the fact that the MacBook Air has been shown the exit recently from Apple. He also added that the Apple 12inch Macbook will be the first to get the processor followed by the 13inch and 15inch model. It's unclear whether this last machine will fall into the "Pro" lineup or have simply the "MacBook" nomenclature. Therefore, he further speculated that the company will launch the upgraded MacBook Bro version with 32GB RAM later this year as a way to attract a larger group of core users to the established laptop series. One of the significant features of this MacBook Pro is it comes with the "desktop class" RAM. He expressed its high expectations that Apple will release a 15-inch MacBook Pro with improved performance specs such as having 32 GB of RAM.
