Not much is known about this title, but it is nice to hear that Switch owners will get a traditional Fire Emblem game to go along with the previously announced hack-and-slash Fire Emblem Warriors.
On console, and while attention is turning towards Nintendo's Switch, due March and hybridizing home and portable consoles into one system, the older 3DS (2011-) has "Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia" on the way. There will also be amiibo of the dual protagonists released on the same day.
The most noteworthy of the three new titles is Fire Emblem Warriors because it is considered to be a major new game in the Fire Emblem franchise. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is inspired by the 1992 original, reimagined on a grander scale. Nothing was shown about the game, not even its title.
The turn-based battle game is made specifically for a smartphone screen with each map contained in an 8×6 grid.
Dead whale caught in Australian waters on board Japanese whaler
New Zealand had worked for years to protect whales and engage with Japan to try and change their attitude, he said. Australian Minister for the Environment and Energy Joshua Anthony referred to the news as "disappointing".
Unlike "Super Mario Run", however, "Fire Emblem: Heroes" will be free rather than a premium app; players will be invited to make in-app purchases. Battle maps are created to fit a smart phone screen, but include the same tactical gameplay that the series is known for. The Nintendo Direct presentation where the games were reported was considered the most fiery and emblematic one yet. And the color of the orbs will dictate what skills your new hero will get.
Another title related to Fire Emblem is of course the above video, Fire Emblem: Heroes for iOS and Android that will be launching very soon on the 2nd February 2017.
The first Nintendo Switch presentation had a quick reveal for Koei Tecmo and Omega Force's Fire Emblem Warriors, and now you can see the first gameplay of the Musou spinoff.
