Finn Balor may have gotten physical at an NXT event last night, but the ex-Universal champ isn't lying about his medical situation - sources tell us he truly hasn't been cleared yet.
The NXT promotion is where Balor made his name prior to his move to the Monday Night Raw roster.
According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Balor was telling the truth when he told the NXT crowd that he wasn't medically cleared to return to the ring.

He's been out since August 2016 with a shoulder injury. At WrestleMania itself, though, Goldberg will be busy with a match against Brock Lesnar, and Kevin Owens is widely expected to have a match against Chris Jericho.
His Demon character, enhanced by elaborate body art, was popular with fans. The victory qualified him to face Rollins for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. He also notes that Balor will likely be at WrestleMania 33, though it's not yet clear in what capacity.
And although he has yet to appear on WWE's flagship show this year, his appearance at NXT points towards a possible appearance at this year's WrestleMania in April.
