In a news conference planned for Thursday afternoon, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is expected to release new details into their investigation.
On Oct. 22, 2005, Tara Grinstead vanished from her home in Ocilla, Georgia, a small town with a population of less than 3,500 about 160 miles south of Atlanta.
A search of Grinstead's home produced very little evidence making the search for her very hard, the release said. Investigators said she went home to Ocilla and was never seen again.
Duke graduated in 2002 from Irwin County High School, where Grinstead taught.
However, a GBI statement of the case says, "The search for Grinstead's remains continues".
Lakers trade Lou Williams to Houston
It was not a four player transaction, or a trade that is expected to have a massive impact on the Los Angeles Lakers performance. This season Williams is hitting 50.9 percent of this corner threes and is a career 40.7 percent shooter on such shots.
Ricketson said Duke may face further charges in the case, but declined to comment further.
Ryan Alexander Duke was arrested Wednesday for Grinstead's murder, and GBI is confident he is responsible for Grinstead's disappearance, GBI officials said.
Without that individual coming forward, investigators said Duke may have never been on their radar. Before Duke's arrest, GBI interviewed more than 200 people without finding a single person of interest.
The investigation is still active and the GBI said it expects to conduct several more interviews and investigative acts in the next few weeks.
