Atomic Blonde has its world premiere at the SXSW film festival next week. Described as "equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission", according to the official description.

It's also rumoured that Leitch got the gig directing Deadpool 2 off the back of rushes from this, so it's definitely got a few things going for it. It is very, very rare we get an action movie with a female lead-especially one where the female lead takes hits and kicks just as much ass as her male counterparts. Those of us not in Austin will get our chance to see it when it hits USA theaters July 28.
