It appears Netflix's newest feature began rolling out as far back as three weeks ago, according to users on Reddit, with those same users claiming that the feature appears to be available in select regions globally. The shortcut has yet to make its way onto the Netflix app. Orange Is the New Black, House of Cards, Iron Fist, The Office, and Mad Men are the titles being reported.
The ability to skip intros has been a longstanding request of many Netflix users for some time now, The Verge reports. What's more, the opening sequence will be automatically skipped in case the episodes are auto-playing.
Between adding offline downloads and a skip intro button, there's not much left on the Netflix Wish List.

Clicking it allows the viewer to avoid the unnecessary waste of minutes and jump straight into the action...even if the show has a cold opening, which is a bit of the show followed by the intro, then the rest of the show.
