The White House is experiencing a major staff-shakeup since the forced resignation of Michael Flynn as national security adviser.
Walsh, formerly chief of staff at the Republican National Committee, will likely take on a consulting role there, and also advise America First, whose role in keeping the president's base energized has yet to take shape.
All three denied that Walsh was sacked.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said no more White House staff changes are planned at this time. Her departure means the loss of a key Priebus ally at the White House as well as one of its highest-ranking women.
