Other cancellations at Upstate New York airports were flights from Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia, Orlando and other cities along the East Coast.
Many airlines are waiving fees to allow travelers to change flights for later in the week.
Even before a massive storm began pounding the East Coast, almost 5,400 USA flights scheduled for Tuesday were cancelled - including almost all of the planes at Newark Liberty International Airport.
For domestic flights, many airlines, like American Airlines, Delta, and JetBlue, are waiving flight change fees they normally charge (usually a few hundred dollars) so that you can book a different flight to get on your way. But most planes scheduled to depart from Boston Tuesday have been called off, as have the majority of planned arrivals.
Orlando Sanford International Airport's website was showing about nine flights canceled Tuesday morning.
