Juventus have pulled out AS Monaco in the draw for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
As a team that typically resides among Europe's elite, the Red Devils have relatively little experience of playing in UEFA's second-tier competition.
Real will host Atletico at the Santiago Bernabeu on May 2 and Monaco are home to Italian champions Juventus on May 3, with the second legs the following week.
The Real Madrid against Atletico semi looks like a repeat of last year's final, which Real won on penalties, and the final three years ago which Real also won in extra-time.
The Champions League final takes place on June 3 (19:45 BST) at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
