The PR move is part of a joint project between the dating app and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy to raise $9million (£7million) for vital conservation efforts.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a long-standing partner of Fauna & Flora International (FFI), has teamed up with Tinder, the world's leading social app for meeting new people, to launch a new campaign to raise awareness about "The Most Eligible Bachelor in the World" named Sudan. They have the option to swipe right on Sudan's profile, and doing so sends a message featuring a link where users can donate.

Richard Vigne, the conservancy's chief executive officer, said: "The plight that now faces the northern white rhino is a signal to the impact that humankind is having on many thousands of other species across the planet". They have been unable to breed naturally due to a range of issues including old age. Sudan is the only remaining male northern white rhino on the planet. Female Southern white rhinos have also been included, and although the match won't result in a 100% southern white rhino offspring, this alternative is much better than extinction.
'This represents the last option to save the species after all previous breeding attempts proved futile, ' said Richard Vigne, the conservancy's chief executive officer. The embryo will be implanted in a surrogate southern white rhino, a far more common species.
