In addition to the Siri watch face, new Toy Story watch faces bring to life favorite Pixar characters including Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear, while the Kaleidoscope watch face turns static images into mesmerizing patterns. Perhaps the biggest update WatchOS 4 will bring to the Apple Watch is dynamic watch faces. Instead of using their arms to portray the hour and minute hands, the faces are fully animated and feature fun little vignettes when you activate them.
The workout app for the watch is also going to be enhanced to be more powerful. Apple Watch-enabled fitness equipment will be coming this fall, too.
Apple has announced the fourth major update to its smartwatch operating system at the annual developer conference, WWDC held in San Jose.
The developer preview of the new operating system is available now, with the customer release coming this fall.

Activity tracking is one of the best things about the Apple Watch.
Besides watchOS 4, Apple announced new versions of iOS, tvOS, and macOS. The company said that it has improved Workout algorithms for tasks such as swimming, high intensity interval training, and now also supports multiple workouts in a single session. They may seem like small changes, but Apple obviously felt the need to add more inspirational tools into the Activity app to keep its native app fresh and competitive.
Improvements to the Workout app will enable you to more accurately collect data from pool and HIIT workouts.
The Activity app has also gotten a minor update with watchOS 4. Whenever you achieve any of these, the watch will display a pretty new animation.
Finally, there's a redesigned app dock in watchOS 4, which will let you scramble throw your apps by simply rotating the dial on the side. These are workouts built around periods of intense activity followed by recovery periods and are seen as a more effective workout over a shorter period of time compared to steady-state exercise, such as jogging. You will see album art and can rotate the Digital Crown to scroll through.
