If Trump decides to follow Zinke's advice, lawsuits would surely ensue.

In Maine, the monument run by the National Park Service is supported by a majority of Maine's congressional delegation but Republican Gov. Paul LePage is vehemently opposed. Several are about the size of the state of DE, including Mojave Trails in California, and Utah's Grand-Staircase Escalante National Monument and Bears Ears, which is on sacred tribal land.
