Police found Wallen's truck abandoned in an apartment complex off of Gramercy Place near Columbia Mall last Thursday.
Laura Wallen, 31, last contacted her family on September 4 via text message.

Now it has emerged that police were suspicious about his involvement at the time and allowed him to carry out that press conference. The owner of the property was not involved with Wallen's disappearance, detectives say.
