Dedicated wearable device Pokemon Go Plus to be launched Sept 16

The device will be the hitting stores in the USA starting September 16. But it didn't provide any details about where consumers can order it online or pick it up in stores. Nevertheless, the pre-orders seem to have mounted up and the device remains sold out at Amazon and Gamestop.
Pokemon GO purists my feel that accessory is both a "cheat", since you don't really have to aim for Pokemon, and also detracts from the spirit of the game as well as Pokemon itself.
We didn't know exactly how popular the game was until Wednesday, however, when the game's creator revealed that the game has been downloaded over 500 million times. Better video game stocks include Activision Blizzard and NetEase, which are on the IBD 50 list of top-performing companies.

Pokemon Go Plus is nearly two months late to market. The device was initially scheduled for release in July, but a series of delays has seen its roll out pushed to September 16, 2016. The recently announced version of Pokemon GO headed for the Apple Watch will also operate similarly, but the Plus is, of course, expected to retail for a considerably more wallet-friendly price than Apple's iPhone accessory.
The Pokemon Go Plus connects to a player's smartphone via BlueTooth and acts as an alarm of sorts to indicate when PokeStops or Pokemon are nearby. The Pokemon Go Plus wearable was supposed to launch in late July, but Niantic postponed it. The player will feel a slight vibration and see a flashing light when a Pokemon is close enough to be caught.
