Samsung is Refusing to Pay Compensation, says Note 7 Users

Samsung's Note 7 crisis will cost the company about $5.3 billion in lost profits over the three-quarters beginning July.
Samsung Myanmar is exchanging the Note 7 for the Galaxy S7 Edge, and offering customer rebates through KBZ bank outlets.
The companies are discussing ways to supply batteries to Samsung's new smartphones starting next year, the report said.

After the tragic happenings surrounding Samsung, there is high anticipation for the new installment of Galaxy Note. After facing a drop in its stock price, two recalls, accusations of bribery, and reports of rivals racing ahead, the Korean firm has now been targeted with YouTube videos in which the Note 7 is shown as a hand grenade.
The batteries used in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones were tested by Samsung Electronics Co.'s lab, as reported by the Morningstar. The company has to date opened customer service points at airports in Sydney, Melbourne and five other cities, according to a page on Samsung's Australian Web site. Since Samsung has permanently pulled the plug on the Note 7, after December 1, it would be virtually impossible for people to get after-sales support for the device.
